So where are we today on the issue of the 56 of Ohio’s 88 County Boards of Elections that no longer have the full set of records, and then justice across the board on all the illegal election matters of the past few years? We have Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner’s repeated comments that she is not going to hold them responsible. When I called, visited, and wrote her office asking, begging, pleading for her to withdraw these statements and to revise her opinion, my many requests seem to have gone un-noticed. Jennifer did not revise her statements, and her office gave me no feedback at all on this very important topic regarding the records of the people of Ohio. The following examples are the tone that has been set so far, and

The Plain Dealer, Thursday August 2, 2007 – Associated Press

“Some boards did legitimately destroy the ballots. They were entitled to” Brunner said Wednesday.

Toledo Blade, August 2, 2007 – Associated Press

“Some boards did legitimately destroy the ballots. They were entitled to,” Ms. Brunner said yesterday.

Ms. Brunner said there’s no evidence that ballots were intentionally destroyed.

“It would have been very difficult to prove that any outcome would have been changed,” Ms. Brunner said.
