In a democracy there is nothing more fundamental than having the right to
vote. And yet, writes Jesse Jackson Jr., the right to vote is not a
fundamental right in our Constitution. It’s time to begin a lofty fight to
add the right to vote to the Constitution - and paint a truer picture of
most Republicans as undemocratic.
