....or the right way to salute dubya.
Friends, I thought I insert a little humor in otherwise serious discussion. Read this and roar!
FRIDAY JUNE 15 2001
The message from Gothenburg
Protesters show Bush what they think of him
FROM DAVID LISTER AND MARTIN FLETCHER IN GOTHENBURG
THOUSANDS of anti-American protesters arrived in Gothenburg yesterday as Swedish police mounted one of the biggest security operations in their history.
By last night an estimated 9,000 demonstrators had arrived in the second city, 300 miles southwest of Stockholm :D. Hundreds of people bared their buttocks in a protest aimed at sending a strong message to President Bush :D.....
They converged in the city centre to perform what was hailed as the first organised “mass moon” protest. At precisely 4.08pm, amid smirks and bemused giggles from a row of watching policemen, a small brass band burst into sound and gave the signal for about 2,000 naked buttocks to be pointed in the direction of President Bush’s hotel.
Male, female, hairy, spotty, pale, tanned — the range of bottoms displayed in the square opposite the SAS Radisson hotel was meant to give the visiting President a lasting and unmistakable impression of just how poorly he is rated by ordinary Europeans.

I wouldn't hold my breath, waiting for a detailed info. It would get a "last page" tiny spot somewhere, because the demonstration was of magnitude 9 on the scale of 10. So it would have been mentioned. In couple of sentences. They would artificially reduce the number of bare butts to a handfull or less, too. To make it look like there was very small number of flipped democrats, or flipped environmentalists, or just generally mentally unbalanced people, who decided to do something as abnormal as that.
I happened to catch some news on TV this morning. Some repuke there marveled on the small number of faux pas that dubya commited in Europe. Some reason to be proud, really. They are SO thrilled, when dubya does not make utter idiot of himself!
President Clinton was warmly welcomed everywhere. He was not afraid to shake hands with ordinary people. He signed autographs...
dubya travels by bulletproof limos. He does not even greet ordinary people. He knows damned well, that ordinary people carry vegetables and eggs, and those would be flying towards him if he showed his chimp face openly in public.
Sorry, did not mean to say anything offending about chimps. Chimps, although they may lack certain powers of reasoning, are not evil. I am proud to be genetically close to chimps.
Now, about dubya....
Who wants to finish above sentence?

I thought he sounded a bit silly when he addressed the media answering questions nukes, and defense shield on friday. He made it sound like, "why would I deploy a missill defense shield? Or something to that effect. It sounded like another "bushism". And it was really unintelligent commentary on his part. Best part is, from what I understand British and German media were not impressed with his news conference. |

I think it is very humorous what the nations of the world are saying and feeling about resident Bush. I think we need to make more Americans aware of the international media and its view of the current resident. It could have a great sling shot affect for us here -- when the American public begins to see what a laughing stock Bush id across the world! Keep up the good work and "Go...spread the word!" - get the news out to the People and to the World! If we don't do it -- who will??
