This election was stolen! If it can be shown that the following occured using the exit polls and the election data, who will help gather the facts and do the analysis?

Ohio Stolen (blog entry, gnn.tv) 2004-11-03 16:26:30 "Greg Palast and Randi Rhodes reported today that the state of Ohio was stolen by the Republicans in election 2004. Ohio was the critical state that tipped the balance, giving the presidency to Bush. Turns out one County in Ohio, equipped with Diebold electronic voting machines, reported NEGATIVE 25,000 votes. Wha?!? Thats what at least one election official in Ohio said. The votes from that County are lost. Not counted. GONE!"

Fixed - The Stealing of Another Election (Democratic Underground.com) --by EarlG --Kerry winning Exit Polls --"FRAUD LOOKS PROBABLE --SoCalDem has done a statistical analysis... ...on several swing states, and EVERY STATE that has EVoting but no paper trails has an unexplained advantage for Bush of around +5% when comparing exit polls to actual results. In EVERY STATE that has paper audit trails on their EVoting, the exit poll results match the actual results reported within the margin of error. So, we have MATCHING RESULTS for exit polls vs. voting with audits vs. A 5% unexplained advantage for Bush without audits."

Tomorrow the Bush Regime Will Steal the Election
Posted November 1, 2004 http://www.thepeoplesvoice.org

By: the editor

Well Americans if you think we are going to choose a new president tomorrow you are sadly mistaken. The republicans have been busily stealing millions of democratic registration forms over the past four years and rigging the entire election process. Tomorrow the Bush regime will steal the election in front of the world and there is not one damn thing we can do to stop it.

Reports are already coming in across the country of efforts to confuse, intimidate, and discourage democratic voters from going to the polls. Ion Sancho, the supervisor of elections in Leon County in Florida, told the Washington Post, "In my 16 years as an election administrator I've never seen anything like this." In Florida thousands of students have learned that not only was their party registration switched to Republican but their home address was changed without their knowledge. This means that when they show up to vote at their local precinct their names won't appear on the voting rolls.

In Pittsburgh, fliers were handed out on what looked like county letterhead that claimed voting had been extended an extra day, "due to immense voter turnout expected on Tuesday." The fliers said Republicans should vote on Tuesday and Democrats should vote on Wednesday.

In Wisconsin fliers purportedly from the a group calling itself the "Milwaukee Black Voters League", told voters, "If you've already voted in any election this year, you can't vote in the presidential election. If you violate any of these laws, you can get ten years in prison and your children will get taken away from you."

In Georgia's Atkinson County, the Republicans challenged the voting eligibility of 78 percent of the county's registered Latino voters based solely on race.

In South Carolina, a letter purportedly from the NAACP warned voters they can not vote if they have outstanding parking tickets or have failed to pay child support. Meanwhile in Ohio, Republicans will be challenging the eligibility of voters at the polls tomorrow, based on a law dating back to the Jim Crow era that was originally aimed at disenfranchising black voters.

According to Elliot Mincberg of the People for the American Way Foundation reports are that an organization that has been funded by the Republican National Committee to conduct voter registration, in both Nevada and Oregon has collected and destroyed untold thousands of democratic registration forms.

The Ohio Secretary of State republican, Ken Blackwell, just decided that thousands of democratic voter registrations that were streaming into the county offices around the state, brought in by groups like America Coming Together, would be rejected. They came in on paper that was less than 80 pound weight -- a thick paper similar to a wedding invitation. Although there is an ancient election rule dating back to a time when county officials used index card boxes to sort and store registrations, today the actual registration information is stored on computers and the old wooden index card boxes are no longer used.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Bush administration lawyers are at this moment attempting to overturn decades of legal precedence by claiming that under the Help America Vote Act which was passed after the 2000 election, only Attorney General John Ashcroft -- and not the voters - has a right to ask federal courts to enforce voting rights. Veteran voting rights lawyers say this would overturn decades of legal precedent and could eliminate any legal challenge to Tuesday's election. According to the paper, since the civil rights era of the 1960s, individuals have gone to federal court to enforce their right to vote, often with the support of groups such as the NAACP, the AFL-CIO, the League of Women Voters.

The Neocon election rigging juggernaut lurches forward unstoppable. Three Republican dominated corporations control over 80% of the vote count in the United States: Sequoia Voting Systems Inc; Electronic Systems & Software Inc. (ES&S); and Diebold" Inc. As this transition has taken place a pattern of election upsets which overwhelmingly favors Republican candidates is obvious. The Neocons have determined that elections can be manipulated easily with the new touch screen voting systems and when accompanied by a media pounding of lies the public will accept the rigged election results as fact. The greatest advantage of the new touch screen voting scam is the removal of a paper trail and the blockage of access to the inner workings of the software.

When a voter touches the screen to select a candidate there is no confirmation that the machine has actually registered the correct selection. In the old punch-card and fill-in-the-circle paper systems, voters could see their choice marked on the ballot. In the event of any question a record of the vote existed and a recount was possible. Since the new electronic systems leave no paper trail there can be no recount and the results must be accepted as fact. Attempts to examine the code used by the machines in Florida were blocked in the courts by the GOP citing, "proprietary/trade secrecy" protections under a law, which made it impossible for the DNC to ascertain how the machines tabulated votes.

It would be admirable if the American people could resist this rigged presidential election as they did the scam of 2000. Of course the ‘Supreme Court five’ will uphold the "proprietary/trade secrecy" protections and the bogus election results will be ruled as legitimate. This election fraud has been so well planned that it probably won’t make it into the courts. With the help of the media, the Neocons will deliver the deathblow to democracy at the touch screen voting terminals.

TUESDAY Nov 2 2004: BREAKING NEWS: New information indicates that hackers may have targeted the central computers that are counting our votes.

Media calls: 206-335-7747 (congestion) - 206-778-0524
E-mail

Freedom of Information requests are not free. We need to raise $50,000 as quickly as possible to pay for records and the fees some states charge for them. We launched one major FOIA action last night, and have two more on the way, pell-mell. Now is the time. If you can't donate funds, please donate time. E-mail to join the Cleanup Crew.

Voting without auditing. (Are we insane?)
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON Nov 3 2004 -- Did the voting machines trump exit polls? There’s a way to find out.

Black Box Voting (.ORG) is conducting the largest Freedom of Information action in history. At 8:30 p.m. Election Night, Black Box Voting blanketed the U.S. with the first in a series of public records requests, to obtain internal computer logs and other documents from 3,000 individual counties and townships. Networks called the election before anyone bothered to perform even the most rudimentary audit.

America: We have permission to say No to unaudited voting. It is our right.

Among the first requests sent to counties (with all kinds of voting systems -- optical scan, touch-screen, and punch card) is a formal records request for internal audit logs, polling place results slips, modem transmission logs, and computer trouble slips.

An earlier FOIA is more sensitive, and has not been disclosed here. We will notify you as soon as we can go public with it.

Such a request filed in King County, Washington on Sept. 15, following the primary election six weeks ago, uncovered an internal audit log containing a three-hour deletion on election night; “trouble slips” revealing suspicious modem activity; and profound problems with security, including accidental disclosure of critically sensitive remote access information to poll workers, office personnel, and even, in a shocking blunder, to Black Box Voting activists.

Black Box Voting is a nonpartisan, nonprofit consumer ..... (for more information click link below)

Stolen Election 2004 http://stolenelection2004.com/

In Election 2000, the Bush regime stole the election and got away with it. Now, in Election 2004, there is new evidence that Bush and the Republicans have stolen the 2004 election by electronic voting fraud in states with E-Voting without paper trails, scrubbing the voter rolls of Democratic voters, and destruction of paper ballots in heavily Democratic areas. See the following articles and posts:

Surprising Pattern in FL counties by voting machine type
by Kathy Dopp, Nov. 3, 2004

Detailed County by County analysis in Florida by voting machine type of expected votes based on voter registration of Democrats and Republicans as compared to actual recorded votes shows that Republicans picked up an extraordinary increase in votes only in those Counties which have optical scanner voting equipment. The disparities are so great that one comes up with the inescapable conclusion that Bush won Florida as a result of election rigging in Counties using the optical scanner voting equipment.

Florida numbers vs 2000 - something is wrong
by BuckMulligan
Wed Nov 3rd, 2004 at 02:22:13 PST

We have 1.39 million new voters in Florida, and Kerry loses by 376,923 votes? Most exit polls in Florida showed Kerry leading, yet he loses by a massive 5%? After looking at these numbers, I can come to only one conclusion. The Diebold machines were rigged.

In most Florida counties, the vote results overwhelming correlate by type of
voting machine used. Kathy Dopp has gathered the information.

Why is anyone acting surprised?
We've been covering stolen elections since 2000, and nothing was done except to make sure this one would be even easier. It was stolen in plain sight.
Why did the democrats "pick" John Kerry? Out of all the candidates?
Perhaps because he too is a member of Skull & Bones and on the same agenda for those who control and have the power to control the populace, the media, and the cover ups since JFK?
When America realizes we have a two party (now one party) dictatorship and demand real representation and a new government, then change will be possible. Thinking you're going to change the system is an hallucination of massive proportions.
We can expect a hellish nightmare the next few years. Now the whole world hates all Americans for the appearance of Bush being VOTED into office, making us a HUGE target for all who hate us, which is pretty much the whole world.
China has already made threats to Bush "you don't rule the world".
So, for those who still believe in their political "saviors" either Rep or Dem, stay in your illusion until the bombs drop. When we have to fight for our lives and properties we will feel the pain and wrath of the Palestinians and the Iraqis and so many more....
I will keep on doing what I've been doing the past four years, exposing all the phonies and corruption.

Just received this email. It raises some very interesting issues.

"Is there any truth to the rumor floating around on the
internet that there is an on-going effort on by
Michael Moore and other liberals to review video tape
footage of certain precincts to count the number of
voters in comparison to number of votes cast to help
prove electronic voter fraud by proving more or less
votes were cast then people voting? If black box fraud
did exist that merely changed who the votes
were cast for this wouldnt work but if it simply added
or took away from the actual numbers wouldnt this be
physical proof of tampering? Is it true that Walden
Odell, chief executive of Diebold (Diebold Election
Systems Inc. of North Canton, Ohio) and a top
fundraiser for the Bush campaign, wrote in a
fund-raising letter last year that he was "committed
to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the
president next year."? David Jefferson, a computer
scientist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in
California, told the Associated Press. "The fact that
we had a relatively smooth election yesterday does not
change at all the vulnerability these systems have to
fraud or bugs." I find the following statement
disturbing. Several issues became evident when the
code was audited, said Avi Rubin, an associate
professor of computer science at Johns Hopkins
University and one of the authors of the paper.
For one, the manufacturer chose Windows CE as the
operating system--a bad choice from a security
standard, Rubin said. "Windows has a long history of
new releases of patch just about every week," he said.
"You can't run voting machines on Windows."
Moreover, the smart cards used by the system to limit
a voter to a single vote could be duplicated. By
bringing a stack of valid cards to the voting booth, a
person could cast several votes. If this was the case
couldnt video footage and an actual count of voters
prove discrepancy?"

Election Was Rigged and Stolen Where is the Outrage? When Will the Biggest Demonstrations in US History Happen?

by Rob Kall

opEdNews.com

American Democracy may be on its Deathbed. The exit Polls Worked in Non-Electronic Voting Sites. But in the sites where un-recountable electronic voting took place the exit polls were off and in Bush's favor. This is the smoking gun. This is the clear sign that the failure of the republicans in the house and senate to support paper ballot legislation was intended to enable the theft of the presidency and further congressional seats. This election has zero credibility and must be overturned. ( for more info on the vote corruption, read:

We need to take a few days to plan and then take to the streets in massive numbers. After months of phone-banking, canvassing, engaging in visibility actions like runagainstBush, I can tell you that when I met anti-bush Kerry supporters, it was very rare that I did not find people who felt passion about being anti bush. Of the 56 million who voted for Kerry Edwards, we can assume that most of them are now passionately pissed off, even if they don't all know that the election was rigged and ripped off worse than Florida in 2004.

It is a despicable outrage that Kerry just laid down and gave up. You could see that this was not what Edwards wanted. I understand it was not what the lawyers wanted. But that is what we are now stuck with. That doesn't mean we have to lay down and take it. We must mobilize at a higher level than ever and force a change in election law so NO election will ever be held again that cannot be completely and certainly recountable and voter verifiable.

Democracy in the US is now a historic phenomenon, not a current reality. We no longer live in a democracy. It's simple. You remain silent, go about your life as usual, and give up, or you decide that you have no choice but to act, to take the day off, or cancel your special plans for the days to come when demonstrations are held.

After the theft of the 2000 elections, the rest of the world waited for people to take to the streets, for the outrage to erupt in protest. It never happened and millions throughout the world were shocked. We cannot stand by and let this atrocity against democracy stand. We cannot allow Bush, the criminal who has now stolen two elections continue to evade facing legal American justice. But it will take unrelenting pressure and raising our voices loud.

Word has it that John Ashcroft will soon be leaving. I fear he will be remembered fondly and that a worse person and policies will fill his place. Even under patriot act I it is illegal to propose acts of civil disobedience, so I will not do so. But we must remember Martin Luther King's and Ghandi's courage in the face of injustice. If you love America, you will get involved. In my opinion, these demonstrations should be local, along major roadways, perhaps at major drivetimes.

These are days and times of Republic infamy and the perpetrators and co-conspirators are the most vile traitors. Those Americans who are being told bush won an American mandate have already proven that they are easily fooled by Fox news, that they accept lies and distortions as reality. We have a responsibility to rescue America from the mass madness that has befallen it. If we fail to act now, we will succumb to and cooperate with the traitorous attack on democracy that the US is now the victim of. Resolve to take action. Resolve to persevere, to keep on fighting. Our predecessors lost their lives for American freedom. Do not let it be stolen by traitors who work with the help of a sold out American media. We will, we must take back the vote, take back the presidency and the congress and take back the media.

Kerry Won. . .
Greg Palast
November 04, 2004

Bush won Ohio by 136,483 votes. Typically in the United States, about 3 percent of votes cast are voided—known as “spoilage” in election jargon—because the ballots cast are inconclusive. Drawing on what happened in Florida and studies of elections past, Palast argues that if Ohio’s discarded ballots were counted, Kerry would have won the state. Today, the Cleveland Plain Dealer http://www.cleveland.com/election/plaindealer/index.ssf?/base/news/109956457262001.xml reports there are a total of 247,672 votes not counted in Ohio, if you add the 92,672 discarded votes plus the 155,000 provisional ballots. So far there's no indication that Palast's hypothesis will be tested because only the provisional ballots are being counted.

Greg Palast, contributing editor to Harper's magazine, investigated the manipulation of the vote for BBC Television's Newsnight. The documentary, "Bush Family Fortunes," based on his New York Times bestseller, The Best Democracy Money Can Buy, has been released this month on DVD http://www.gregpalast.com/bff-dvd.htm .

Kerry won. Here's the facts.

I know you don't want to hear it. You can't face one more hung chad. But I don't have a choice. As a journalist examining that messy sausage called American democracy, it's my job to tell you who got the most votes in the deciding states. Tuesday, in Ohio and New Mexico, it was John Kerry.

Most voters in Ohio thought they were voting for Kerry. CNN's exit poll showed Kerry beating Bush among Ohio women by 53 percent to 47 percent. Kerry also defeated Bush among Ohio's male voters 51 percent to 49 percent. Unless a third gender voted in Ohio, Kerry took the state.

So what's going on here? Answer: the exit polls are accurate. Pollsters ask, "Who did you vote for?" Unfortunately, they don't ask the crucial, question, "Was your vote counted?" The voters don't know.

Here's why. Although the exit polls show that most voters in Ohio punched cards for Kerry-Edwards, thousands of these votes were simply not recorded. This was predictable and it was predicted. [See TomPaine.com, "An Election Spoiled Rotten," November 1. ]
http://www.tompaine.com/articles/an_election_spoiled_rotten.php
Once again, at the heart of the Ohio uncounted vote game are, I'm sorry to report, hanging chads and pregnant chads, plus some other ballot tricks old and new.

The election in Ohio was not decided by the voters but by something called "spoilage." Typically in the United States, about 3 percent of the vote is voided, just thrown away, not recorded. When the bobble-head boobs on the tube tell you Ohio or any state was won by 51 percent to 49 percent, don't you believe it ... it has never happened in the United States, because the total never reaches a neat 100 percent. The television totals simply subtract out the spoiled vote.

Whose Votes Are Discarded?

And not all votes spoil equally. Most of those votes, say every official report, come from African-American and minority precincts. (To learn more, click here. http://www.civilrightsproject.harvard.edu/research/electoral_reform/residual_ballot.php )

We saw this in Florida in 2000. Exit polls showed Gore with a plurality of at least 50,000, but it didn't match the official count. That's because the official, Secretary of State Katherine Harris, excluded 179,855 spoiled votes. In Florida, as in Ohio, most of these votes lost were cast on punch cards where the hole wasn't punched through completely—leaving a 'hanging chad,'—or was punched extra times. Whose cards were discarded? Expert statisticians investigating spoilage for the government calculated that 54 percent of the ballots thrown in the dumpster were cast by black folks. (To read the report from the U.S. Civil Rights Commission, click here http://www.usccr.gov/pubs/vote2004/elect04.pdf .)

And here's the key: Florida is terribly typical. The majority of ballots thrown out (there will be nearly 2 million tossed out from Tuesday's election) will have been cast by African American and other minority citizens.

So here we go again. Or, here we don't go again. Because unlike last time, Democrats aren't even asking Ohio to count these cards with the not-quite-punched holes (called "undervotes" in the voting biz). Nor are they demanding we look at the "overvotes" where voter intent may be discerned.

Ohio is one of the last states in America to still use the vote-spoiling punch-card machines. And the Secretary of State of Ohio, J. Kenneth Blackwell, wrote before the election http://www.civilrightsproject.harvard.edu/research/electoral_reform/residual_ballot.php , “the possibility of a close election with punch cards as the state’s primary voting device invites a Florida-like calamity.”

But this week, Blackwell, a rabidly partisan Republican, has warmed up to the result of sticking with machines that have a habit of eating Democratic votes. When asked if he feared being this year's Katherine Harris, Blackwell noted that Ms. Fix-it's efforts landed her a seat in Congress.

Exactly how many votes were lost to spoilage this time? Blackwell's office, notably, won't say, though the law requires it be reported. Hmm. But we know that last time, the total of Ohio votes discarded reached a democracy-damaging 1.96 percent. The machines produced their typical loss—that's 110,000 votes—overwhelmingly Democratic.

The Impact Of Challenges

First and foremost, Kerry was had by chads. But the Democrat wasn't punched out by punch cards alone. There were also the 'challenges.' That's a polite word for the Republican Party of Ohio's use of an old Ku Klux Klan technique: the attempt to block thousands of voters of color at the polls. In Ohio, Wisconsin and Florida, the GOP laid plans for poll workers to ambush citizens under arcane laws—almost never used—allowing party-designated poll watchers to finger individual voters and demand they be denied a ballot. The Ohio courts were horrified and federal law prohibits targeting of voters where race is a factor in the challenge. But our Supreme Court was prepared to let Republicans stand in the voting booth door.
