The key to this race may well be determined, as have been the last three presidential races, by third party candidates.
Perot sucked all the running room out of Bush I, and Dole. Nader allowed the 2000 election to be close enough for the Republicans to steal the Presidency.
GORE: 48.39%
NADER: 2.72
----------------- 51.11%
The GORE/NADER vote exceeded the bush/buchanan vote by 2,955,955
Call, write, e-mail, Mr Nader and respectfully ask him to fully consider the consequences working people will suffer under four more years of these right wing jihadists.

Do visit the site and urge others to do so. Be sure to email them and share your opinions on a Nader 2004 run. I did. This is a terrible idea that will insure Corporate control of our government and a collapse of every environmentally sound, pro-consumer and pro-worker policy at the federal level.
2004 is coming.

Before seeing Bonnie Rait and David Cosby at the Dean fundraiser in SF(it was a wonderful program) I was talking to Marin County Dean chair and I told her to pass this around. I tried to tell as many people as I could because like 2000, Nader may try to act like a spoiled little kid and announce again--thus creating further division. However, I have heard that there are some within the Green Party who will not support Nader. They are planning to support Dean. And this is good. But you have to ask yourself this question: How can anyone take Nader seriously in 04? I can't.

There may be some good news here--but its only moderate good news at the moment. Did I say moderate? Oh my. I hope I don't sound like GW. How about unconfirmed good news? Or yet to be determined good news? Take your pick.
In a recent article on buzzflash, Ralph Nader apparently has decided he will not seek presidential nomination IN GREEN PARTY. This seems to bode well will green party members because many of them are apparently not interested in voting for ths turkey anyway. Nader says he is thinking about running as an Independant. If he does, it is predicted he will only get about HALF the support he received in 2000. My thought is he will be lucky to get half of what he got in 2000. This is good because greens are more aware of what is at stake here if "nothing between his ears" is elected for four more years. A sigh of relief is tentatively being exhaled from this computer after reading this news. We will not be divided by the green party vote, but united to get the bush crime family out of Washington. Greens will likely support democratic candidate since the goal is to send this idiot back to Texas where he belongs. The news of many greens supporting demo candidate provides an aura of optismism that indeed we will get our country back in 2004.

I'm bumping this again because buzzflash has another story indicating Nader is still thinking about running. Its time to flood his site and ask Ralph please don't run. This is important. Tell your friends and neighbors. Use above link to go to his site.

Well, its coming out in press reports that this egomanic is probably going to announce sunday (2/22) his decision on running as "I" nominee. A press conference is scheduled monday (2/23). According to story I saw, Nader will have trouble getting on the ballot in many states. But one could guess that Rove would be happy to spend MILLIONS to help get Nader on the ballot in at least 30-40 states. Bush can't win on issues, but he can sure invest in spoiler candidate to suck off votes just to throw election. Why doesen't this idiot just fall off into the ocean and rid us of his greedy selfishness? As I said before, I don't think many people will take this 70 year old political hack seriously. I hope thats the case this time around.
