I have been away from this web site for about two weeks now. And there is a reason for it. But I will not go into that now. I will say that I have have been(time permitting) in contact with various demo parties on the west coast. The purpose is too get them to link onto this very site. Steph and Al are aware of this, but I'm asking for your help since one person can't contribute everything. I think I'm a little bummed because I'm not seeing much new. I have been doing this on my own(mainly because I care too much). But I'm asking for other members to help me. Simply contact other organizations(or demo party affiliated organizations--county or otherwise), and tell them about DTR. Ask them if they could/would support a DTR link. All it is is marketing. Just use your best salesmanship (no you can't kick the tires).Tell them of the benefits of this site and its inclusive community of fellow demo's. This is an important period for us all--as I want to see this regime in DC booted out in 04. The more of us get active, the greater our chances of removing the Bush Crime Family.
As one bit of good news, threre are several rock groups coordinating seperate tours to increase voter registration of young voters(see buzzflash). There are also ad's planned to air during the week of the residents SOU address. They will air the entire week highlighting the failures of this administration. A rap group(don't know who) is setting a goal of registering 4 million new voters for 04. This is encouraging. Our support is needed to help who ever is active in these important causes.
Now that I've got this off my chest, I will go back to reading my Al Fraken book Liars: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right. Good stuff.

I want to echo this plea for more involvement. We need to spread the message aggressively everywhere we go. Our democracy and the American way of life is seriously under threat from the Bush Republicans and international Corporate forces.
2004 is coming.
