We all have heard of Rush's latest insult of African Americans. He has a documented history of denigrating other races as well. Following is a take from our website on the pill popping El Fatass.
------------------------------------------
RUSH LIMBAUGH: (Hosts the most popular radio talk show in America, also regarded as a world class gasbag, blowhard, and shameless, self promoting, self absorbed, namedropping sycophant) -In my opinion-

"I don't give a hoot that [Columbus] gave some Indians a disease that they didn't have an immunity against." (Quote from his best selling book, "The Way Things Ought To Be." pg. 45).

"There are more American Indians alive today than there were when Columbus arrived or at any other time in history. Does this sound like a record of genocide?" (Quote from his best selling book, "I Told You So." pg. #6.
Rush must be using the "new math" to arrive at this conclusion. Most experts today, feel that in the United States and Canada alone, there were in 1492, approximately 10 to 20 million Native Americans. By 1900 there were less than 250,000 Native people left alive, a decline of well over 98%. At the time the "all knowing" Rushkie wrote this book there were approximately 2,300,000 enrolled native people and an additional 1,000,000 other Indian people of various degrees of Native blood. Using a very, very, generous figure of 3,000,000 Native people, there were at the time of this quote at least 15,000,000 fewer Native people alive as compared to 1492, a decline of at least 83%.

"Columbus saved the Indians from themselves." (Quote from his radio show.) Left to themselves the Taino People, over a period of thousands of years, formed a peace loving, prosperous civilization that numbered in the millions. After 50 years of Spanish domination they were reduced in number to nearly zero. It is my hope that the United States or any other nation ever again has to face such a "savior."

I heard very similar comments from Ann Coulter concerning the genocide of Native Americans. As a person of mixed European and Native American (Cherokee) blood, I am very deeply offended by these comments.

Davy Crockett sacrificed his political career in opposition to the Indian Removal movement before he gave his life in the Texas Independence fight. Powerful and wealthy folks have always benefitted from oppressing the Native Americans. Republicans are continuing their efforts today. Arnod The Barbarian is trying to tax the Indian Casinos because some small tibes are starting to see a brighter financial future. Wealthy Republicans want to hold down the struggling Native American population in America. Shame on them!!!!

2004 is coming.

Stephan,
You share the same heritage as my wife and two children. And you share my concern for the extreme intolerance, ignorance, and veiled racism, that one can hear ad nauseum on right-wing hate radio by creatons like Limbaugh, Hanity, Mike Savage, and Ann Coulter.
I hope Al Gore completes his deal to get a radio network up and running to help you act as a counter-balance against these "Lying Liars" of the Wahabbi's of the Right.
