Anybody surprised? 9th circuit court in CA. overturns ruling by previous court to postpone recall election for "material hardship" because of
"enormous resources already invested". Florida 2000 all over again. Get ready for 04. ANY election that's even reasonably close, Republicans will steal it illegally. Just like Fla.2000.
Just like Tx redistricting scheme. We will need a 60/40 win or better, anything closer Republican controlled electronic voting machines will steal it for them in CA. and in 04. Since when was democracy supposed to be easy?
We as Democrats must work harder than ever to stop these dangerous radical rightwing Republicans from destroying our great country.

The repug scumbags are trying to talkState Senator Tom McClintock out of race so Arnoald The Grooper will be only repug in. If McClintock stays in(which he says he will) Lt. Gov Bustimante probably wins it. Davis COULD still keep his seat if majority of voters vote NO--and that would be delicious backfiring right in the face of the scumbag party. But for now, the biggest push is for everyone to just vote no(where have I heard that line before?) I am voting No on Recall, and on 54 which is a race oriented measure(state would not have to collect race based program information ie hiring/firing).

Its not a clear cut deal for Arnold the Groper. Latest poll on the day before this repug scam shows people are more prone to vote in recall than they were one month ago. Report today on Calif. Report radio program indicates increases in new registered voters statewide. People are much more educated about what is at stake here. Also there is an indication court will look at this after it is said and done. I just hope this blows up in repugs, and Karl Roves face by either Davis or Bustmante getting majority of votes....thus democrats retain state house. More after election on this thread.
