Guest is US Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis discussing the importance and history of Labor Day and the US Department of Labor. Solis also discusses her ties to organized labor and the functions of the US Department of Labor.

3.) 5-21-2009 - Hosts: Stephen Crockett & John Morgan.
Guests: Mike Corbett- Secretary of the YDA Labor Caucus & Political Director of Teamsters Local 814 Joseph L. Kitchen, Jr.- Policy and Platform Chair of the YDA Labor Caucus & youth pastor Rocco Giammaria- Parliamentarian of the YDA Labor Caucus & AFSCME member. This show includes a very spirited discussion of the Employee Free Choice Act, labor law and the Specter-Sestak U.S. Senate Democratic Primary race in Pennsylvania.
4.) 5-28-2009 - Hosts: Stephen Crockett & John Morgan.
Guest: Erin Fetherman- design specialist at the Lehigh Valley Print Center, former Iraq War Marine Corp veteran, liberal and Arabic translator. This is one of most enlightening shows. It was a great discussion on religious and political tolerance, Arab culture, Iraqi history and American attitudes toward other cultures.
5.) 6-4-2009 - Hosts: Stephen Crockett & John Morgan.
Topics discussed in this show include Congressman Sestak's Pennsylvania Senate campaign announcement, Senator Specter's voting record, Obama's Cairo speech to the Muslim world, Congressman Dent's votes against mortgage foreclosure relief and jobs, healthcare, ACORN, predatory lending, credit card regulation and more.
6.) 6-11-2009 - Hosts: Stephen Crockett & John Morgan.
Guest: Ed Pawlowski, Mayor of Allentown, Pennsylvania. Mayor Pawlowski talks about his record of accomplishments as mayor of Pennsylvania's third largest city. He discusses the challenges he faced coming into office and how he turned Allentown into one of the financially soundest municipalities in the commonwealth. Pawlowski talks about how Obama's stimulus program has really helped Allentown deal with the problems arising out of the current difficult economic situation. He covers his campaign themes for re-election and more.
7.) 6-18-2009 - Hosts: Stephen Crockett & John Morgan.
Guest: Bill Epstein, Director of Communications for the United food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) Local 1776. This important show covers the UFCW-Acme markets labor/management dispute involving 4,000 workers in southeast Pennsylvania, the Employee Free Choice Act and much more.
8.) 6-25-2009 - Hosts: Stephen Crockett & John Morgan.
Guests: John Werkheiser, Executive Vice President of the Lehigh Valley Labor Council, AFL-CIO & College Bargaining Agent for UFCW Local 1776; Paul Tucker, Editor of the Union News; Gregg Potter, President of the Lehigh Valley Labor Council, AFL-CIO & Pennsylvania head organizer for Healthcare for America Now (HCAN). Show starts with an update on the UFCW-Acme markets labor/management dispute. Paul Tucker makes a brief appearance and we discuss his labor movement newspaper. The rest of the show covers the healthcare crisis in America and the national Healthcare for America Rally along with related events in Washington, D.C. later that day.
9.) 7-2-2009 - Hosts: Stephen Crockett & John Morgan.
Guests: Jack Panella, candidate for Pennsylvania Supreme Court & currently Pennsylvania Superior Court Judge Charles Dertinger, Northampton County Councilman. This program starts with Judge Panella discussing the Easton Democratic Picnic and the many candidates who attended the previous weekend. Panella talks about his campaign, working class background, his judicial philosophy and experiences, the importance of voting this year, how the Pennsylvania court system works and much, much more. This show helps listeners understand the man behind the bench. Toward the end of the show, Northampton County Councilman and former Congressional candidate Charles Dertinger joins the discussion by phone from Washington, D.C.
